I celebrated my 30th birthday here and it was perfect! The staff were so nice and they put us in the private room upstairs which made the experience extra special and intimate. The food and drinks were fantastic - loved ordering the set menu as I didn’t have to think through a thing. Would definitely recommend for any celebration

Lovely, boutique Italian restaurant serving home made pasta as part of a well considered menu. We were fortunate to catch the last table for an 8:30 booking on a Saturday night. Carrot triangoli was the dish of the night. An absolute standout and one of the most delectable entrees we’ve had all year. Don’t share a plate - get your own. The menu offers more and less traditional choices. We also ordered smokey eggplant dip, gnocchi with pumpkin, mafaldine with wagyu beef neck and brussels sprouts with pancetta (recommended). Delicious. GF options include quality pappardelle. The staff are lovely. This is a terrific place in an attractive neighborhood. Well worth a visit. When next in Sydney, we’ll be back.

The best restaurant I tried during my Sydney trip. The tiramisu was absolutely perfect, the pasta was outstanding, and the beetroot salad was so good it genuinely made me feel at home. We started with butter and bread, which was served in a generous portion and set the tone beautifully for the meal. The wine list was well-curated. The only downside was a small issue with the service, but the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a warm charm that made the whole evening even more enjoyable.

Did the $75 chef's tasting menu of 9 courses. Quality food and good portions for the price. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, not a single bad dish. Service was good as well. No complaints. Highly recommend

Such a great restaurant; great food and service! My partner and I had the chefs tasting menu and there wasn’t one dish we didn’t like. We walked away so full too! Menu highlight for us was the carrot triangoli.

Dinner at Kindred was a fantastic experience — beautifully executed food, warm service, and a lovely, intimate atmosphere. It’s a great choice for both small dates and larger group dinners. Food: We had the chef’s multi-course menu, which was outstanding from start to finish. Each dish was high quality and portioned perfectly, except for dessert which was absolutely massive (I’m not complaining). The price felt very fair for an experience-style dinner. Staff: The team were friendly, attentive, and managed our group of 10 seamlessly. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt very well looked after throughout the night. Decor & Atmosphere: The space has a cosy, inviting feel with just the right amount of buzz. It’s ideal for a date night or a relaxed evening with friends. A truly memorable dinner spot — I’d definitely return, especially for another special occasion or group meal. P.S. As a large party, we were seated in a semi-private room at the back, which made the experience even more enjoyable — comfortable for us and considerate for other diners.
